Reinforcement or repair of civil engineering works and tunnel

Reinforcement or repair of civil engineering works and tunnel makes the loose soil or rock mass hard and work period short. This is a construction method to reapir crack and water leakage.

Explanation

During civil engineering and tunnel work, if you use this method, you can halt water flow quickly and exactly, and stabilize soils and rock mass.? As a result, it makes the work period short. In addition to that, it will prevent and repair crack water leakage for tunnel, dam, harbor and common utility tunnel permanently and have no shrinkage after repair. This method has high strength, strong adhesion than concrete, rapid hardening ability, resistance to brine and strong penetration up to 0.4mm crack.? Moreover it can be used for structural joint in need of high elasticity, with no environmental effect.

Sealling


Seal water in construction site

If you enlarge your building or build near other building, the excavated pit can be swept away by the water flow from under existing building. If fine soils have come out from under existing building whose safety can be affected. Resin injection method can be used to stop gushing and pressing water with no doubt, in addition to that it can seal and stabilize the foundation.


Seal within pit wall

When excavate a tunnel - especially boring work, you will dig a pit. Often, you can find the defect between pile and retaining wall. The existing cement injection method cannot fill up this wide gap.
We can solve this problem by injection of low viscosity resin using unique tube. Low viscosity resin can penetrate to the soil without difficulty so you can continue the engineering work and remove the remained water easily.


Halting water permeation from pit bottom

It is a general method to stop water from pit bottom that degrading ground water level. But, if you build adjacent to existing building, you cannot halt the water inflow by this method. Despite the great care to pumping water out from the pit, lots of water and gravels happen to infiltrate through pit lining gap.
This can be controlled by resin injection after drilling through the bottom where water inflow happens. Water infiltration above 120cm3/hour can be perfectly stopped by this method. Gap of lost sand and soil is filled up with injected resin. Moreover this will stop ground sinking caused by the weight of structure.


Seal around the anchor head

Often, tieback anchor is located below ground water level so water leaks around the anchor head. In this case, we use special injection machine and compatible resin to seal around the anchor head. It's the polyurethane resin which can definitely seal water leakage with only 5 kg of resin per one anchor head


Repair of wet tunnel

When there's water leakage within the tunnel of express and rail way, icicle forms in winter and the traffic will meet great difficulty. Injection repair can be considered in this case. Low viscosity resin is pumped 0.5~1.5 liter/min, pressure 15. This injected resin can fill up the crack permanently and can absorb the unequal load of tunnel through its good elasticity.



Strengthening

Repair and protection of Bridge joints

Structure enduring the weight of old bridge is consist of sheet coil and cement arch. Excessive load for several decades cause fatigue of them, where crack develop so rain penetrate and remain. This rainwater freezes, expands and may cause part damages and safety problem. As a result, the bridges become not suitable for transport anymore. To repair this kind of bridges, remove the loosened concrete (especially, around the flange plate of girder), slowly inject resin through packer after drilling the cracks. Resin has permanent sealing effect for the crack.


Repair of sewage lines.

Underground sewage big enough for human passage have fine crack and frequent defects in outer wall sealing and joint. It's easy to repair the culvert to original state. Inject resin through packer after drilling the defected parts suitable for repair. The resin penetrates into the defects, fill up the gap and be hardened. This is a secure method to seal defected culvert. The repaired lines can be used as well as normal ones.
